Structure of Aviva Spain
Aviva sells pensions and life, health and accident insurance products through two distribution channels: a bacassurance network based on strategic alliances with savings banks and an agency distribution network selling through Aviva Vida y Pensiones a fully-owned company operating under the Aviva brand.
Bancassurance
Aviva owns 50% of the insurance companies Aseval, Unicorp Vida, CxG Aviva and Caja España Vida. Unicorp Vida also holds 50% of Caja Granada Vida. Co-owners of these companies are some of the main savings banks in Spain. Aviva has recently signed a new bancassurance deal with Cajamurcia creating the insurance company Cajamurcia Vida.
Our business units distribute exclusively Aviva products through their branches. Thanks to these agreements Aviva has an exclusive national distribution network of over 4000 branch offices in Spain.
Agency distribution
Aviva Vida y Pensiones distributes life and pensions products through an agents and brokers network. This strategy is supplementary to our bancassurance distribution model and makes a significant contribution to our business.
Aviva Servicios Compartidos
Aviva Servicios Compartidos is Aviva Spain centre of excellence providing IT, HR, actuarial, legal and other support services to other group companies.
Aviva Grupo Corporativo
Aviva Grupo Corporativo coordinates all the Aviva business units in Spain.
