Iván Martín-Aránguez was born in Madrid and has a degree in Business Administration and Management and MBA Cum Laude in Financial Analysis from Carlos III University in Madrid. Mr. Martin is a CFA Charterholder and member of the Spanish CFA Society.

He is Professor of Portfolio Management on the Masters in Financial Management course at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona.

Mr. Martín-Aránguez started his professional career in 1998 in a junior position within the back office department of Banco Santander de Negocios. After serving one and a half year in BSN he joined Banco Atlántico in 2000, currently integrated in Banco Sabadell, as an equity fund manager.

Until January 2006, he worked at Banco Sabadell as an equity fund manager responsible for value-style equity investments. One of the funds he managed, based on the basic principles of Benjamin Graham and Warren Buffett's “value” school, was amongst the first in Spain to receive a qualitative rating from Standard and Poor's.

In January 2006, he joined Aviva as a fund manager responsible for Spanish equities, applying the same investment philosophy. He has been Fund Management Director since May 2007. Iván Martín-Aránguez is currently ranked in the top three equity fund managers in Spain by Citywire Fund Managers International.

Among other achievements he has received the Alumni Award for Professional Excellence by the Board of the University Carlos III of Madrid in the 2010 edition of the hands of the President of the Community of Madrid, and various awards for investment and pension funds managed such as Morningstar, Interactive Data and Lipper Thomson.
