Caja España Vida
Caja España Vida (Caja España Vida Compañía de Seguros y Reaseguros, S.A.) was created on June 16, 1998 to sell life insurance and reinsurance products. In 2001 it gained authorisation to manage pension funds.
It joined Aviva on December 14, 2001.

Caja España
Caja España de Inversiones, Caja de Ahorros y Monte de Piedad is a financial institution created upon the merger of five savings banks: Caja de Ahorros y Monte de Piedad de Palencia (created in 1881), Caja de Ahorros y Monte de Piedad de León (1900), Caja de Ahorros Popular de Valladolid (1916), Caja de Ahorros Provincial de Valladolid (1940) and Caja de Ahorros Provincial de Zamora (1965)
Caja España is currently the largest financial institution in the geographical area of Castilla y León and one of the main financial companies in Spain. At 31 December it had 3004 and 577 branches all over Spain.
