Caja Granada Vida
General Vida was created in April 1998 as an insurance distributor operating under the name Correduría de Seguros Generales de Granada, S.L. It was acquired by Unicorp Vida in September 2002 to act as agent selling their products.
The company joined the Aviva group upon the bancassurance deal with Caja Granada on September 26, 2002 and currently distributes Aviva pension and insurance products through the branch network of Caja Granada.
In June 2007, General Vida gained authorisation to operate as a life insurer and was rebranded to CajaGranada Vida (Caja Granada Vida, Compañía de Seguros y Reaseguros Sociedad Anónima).

Caja Granada
Caja General de Ahorros de Granada was born in 1892 thanks to the association Sociedad Económica de Amigos del País de Granada and the Commerce Chamber of Granada.
In 1964, Caja de Granada has 133 branches, being 29 of them out of the city of Granada. In 1982, with over 190 branches, Caja Granada took another step forward and expanded their branch network to the rest of Andalusia, Madrid and Barcelona. In 1991 it merged with Caja Provincial de Granada.
At December 2006, it had 2500 employees and €21,799 m business volume. Their profit after tax amounted to 89€.7 m.
